There are many reasons why there is a space between the Bible and the Church today. This book will talk about some of them but cannot list and speak to every one of them. The goal here was to discuss the most obvious ones and those which are easy to recognize. When a Christian stops to consider a lack of leadership in a local church or is it entertainment or solid Bible teaching? Is the shiny new building the most attractive thing concerning the church or is it sound Bible teaching? These and others are discussed in this book. I'm sure some will disagree with these reasons while others will agree whole heartedly. For those who disagree and think these are far fetched or out of bounds, I only ask that you read with an open mind and understand that Jesus is the only real reason to attend a local church and to worship Him.
