Esta edición de mi Teatro completo espero que lo confirme, no por la calidad de los textos, que quedan a juicio del lector, sino por el significado personal e histórico que le adjudico, que trasciende cada uno de ellos, algunos de los cuales se publican por primera vez, como el caso de los inciertos pasos de 'Las cuatro brujas' -mención honorÃfica del concurso Prometeo de 1950-, la primera edición de 'Sucederá mañana' y 'El verano está cerca', obras sin estrenar como 'Las paraguayas' y 'Funeral en Teruel', hasta llegar a textos de madurez después de 'Exilio', que abren un nuevo ciclo. En todo caso, lo que intento decir es que no son meros textos dramáticos, sino que es como si a través del teatro me hubiera escrito a mà mismo, y el teatro fuera mi cuerpo, que configura este libro. // MatÃas Montes Huidobro
