________________________________________ My mother, Thelma Taylor, was the inspiration for this children's book. She will soon be 90 years old! She told me the theme and the plot for the story and I enriched the plot and edited the story. We hope you enjoy reading this book to your children and grandchildren. This story is about a young red bird that does not want to learn how to fly, no matter what anyone says, he loves to be at home with his mother and father. The truth is he is afraid to try. Jane M.
