Los mal casados de Valencia es una comedia de Guillén de Castro, publicada en Valencia en el año 1618.
En esta obra un matrimonio, Álvaro e Hipólita, se aman y son felices. Pero una pareja amiga, Valerían y Eugenia quieren establecer vínculos sentimentales con el matrimonio: Valerián con Hipólita y Eugenia con don Álvaro, y aquí se inicia el embrollo de la trama.
Tanto Valerían como Eugenia no son correspondidos. Elvira, un quinto personaje aparece en la trama. Está enamorada de don Álvaro y se disfraza de paje para no levantar sospechas, adoptando el nombre de Antonio.
A través de este juego lleno de enredos las verdades sobre los personajes y sus amores salen a la luz. En Los mal casados de Valencia lo que iba a ser un pasatiempo divertido, acaba con lamentos.
