La Honra CientÃfica Española En Manos De S. M. El Rey D. Alfonso XII... offers a detailed look at the state of Spanish science under the reign of King Alfonso XII. Pedro Armengol y Cornet examines the recognition and honor bestowed upon scientific endeavors during this period. The book provides insights into the relationship between the monarchy and the advancement of scientific knowledge in 19th-century Spain.
This historical account explores the impact of royal patronage on the scientific community and highlights the key figures and achievements that defined Spanish science at the time. It is a valuable resource for historians and anyone interested in the history of science and the role of monarchs in its development.
