Es un cuento fantástico considerado una obra literaria de importancia cultural ya que se basa en la extensa y misteriosa Mitología Guaraní de las tribus antepasados que fueron los primeros colonos que vivieron en Sudamérica.
El libro toca los principales puntos: cultura, religión, creencias, mitos, vivencias e idioma original de la tribu con el que se basó este libro.
- POR QUÉ SE CONSIDERA DE IMPORTANCIA CULTURAL?
Este libro nace del Autor Elvio Manuel Pereira, luego de una exhaustiva investigación acerca de la cultura de sus antepasados indios mestizos guaraníes, por lo que el contenido del libro es un pedazo de tesoro cultural ya que toca los temas que se ha resaltado.
El libro esta en español, pero los diálogos están en el idioma Guaraní (el guaraní es el idioma latente oficial del país de Paraguay en Sudamérica, este país en el único en el mundo que practican y hablan idiomas nativas por lo que se le considera como país bilingüe) los hablante de la lengua guaraní son todos los paraguayos y hasta la actualidad no existe ni una ley que menosprecia el idioma de sus antepasados, incluso en los colegios y en las universidades son hablados y enseñados.
- DE QUÉ TRATA EL LIBRO?
Este libro es un cuento ficticio sobre la tribu Guaraní de aquellos tiempos, esta tribu constantemente es asediada por una tribu enemiga con un Jefe llamado Yryvu (Cuervo en guaraní), esta tribu ataca a las tribus pequeñas y los somete e incluso los usa como sacrificio a su dios Yryvu Hu (Cuervo Negro).
La tribu de los Guaraníes eran pacífico y vivían sometidos a la tribu enemiga de Yryvu, la tribu enemiga era llamados como Guaykurúes (verdaderamente estos grupos existieron y eran indios que atacaban a los guaraníes para saquearlos y robarles a sus mujeres). Cierto día atacó a la tribu de los guaraníes matando a todos los hombres y robándose a las mujeres y a los niños para saciar a su dios Yryvu Hu; aquí comienza la trama porque 6 hombres escapan de sus manos y después de una extensa lucha el grupo se reduce.
Los hombres deben rescatar a su tribu secuestrada y asi garantizar la supervivencia de su sangre.
La tribu enemiga estaba gobernada por chamanes y brujos y tienen a su poder de invocar a los siete hijos de Tau y Kerana eran bestias con cuerpos hasta mezclados con animales híbridos (es de origen cultural la mitología y la creencia se mantiene hasta hoy día).
RIQUEZA DEL LIBRO
EL IDIOMA: se considera el más importante de los guaraníes, ya que eran analfabetos y se comunicaban solamente con sus idiomas y así se identificaban de las otras tribus.
LA MITOLOGÍA: tienen una mitología basada en las criaturas que engendraron Tau y Kerana, estas criaturas existieron en la época donde se narra el libro.
LA RELIGÍON: Los guaraníes no eran cristianos, mas bien era monoteísta y creían en Tupâ (Dios o creador) y creían en Arasý (que escrito en guaraní traducido al español significa Madre del Cielo). Muchas veces los adoraban y ofrecían las primicias de sus cultivos, ganados y cazas para la buena fortuna de sus siembras y el clima.
LA VIVENCIAS: Eran colonos desde tiempos antiguos que vivían de la caza, siembra y pesca, no eran luchadores como los Guaykurúes.
LA TRADICION QUE SIGUE VIVO Y QUE SE PRACTICA 100% HASTA LA ACTUALIDAD: El mate y tereré son bebidas tradicionales de este país y también que migró por otros países dentro del continente; esta bebida consiste en su fuente principal que es la Yerba Mate, un árbol en donde sus hojas es utilizado como base de su bebida. Las hojas se secan y luego se tritura, esto se colocaban dentro de una Guampa (recipiente tipo vaso hecho de cuernos de vacas o algunos frutos de árbol que al secarse podía
