Bebe un vaso de agua y deja la jarra a la vista. Elige una hora para acostarte. Despeja una sola superficie de la casa. Escribe tres nombres: son tu equipo. Pídele algo a alguien con día y hora, no con cuando quieras. Escribe en un papel la frase exacta que vas a decir cuando descuelguen en el banco. Aparta tres cosas suyas antes de tocar el armario. Marca en el calendario la próxima fecha difícil y ponle un plan.
LAS DOCE SEMANAS
Semana 1: Sostener el cuerpo. Semana 2: Las noches. Semana 3: La casa. Semana 4: La gente. Semana 5: Los papeles y el dinero. Semana 6: El enfado y la culpa. Semana 7: La memoria. Semana 8: El calendario. Semana 9: El cuerpo se mueve. Semana 10: Volver a querer algo. Semana 11: Lo que sigue vivo del vínculo. Semana 12: La vida que continúa.
Están ordenadas por una razón, no por capricho: las tres primeras van del cuerpo, del sueño y de la casa, porque sin eso lo demás no se sostiene.
LO QUE ENCONTRARÁS DENTRO:
- Ochenta y cuatro pasos concretos, uno por día, con una instrucción clara al final de cada uno.

LA REGLA QUE IMPORTA MÁS QUE TODAS LAS DEMÁS
Aquí no se pierde el sitio. Si un día no haces nada, mañana sigues por donde estabas. Si desapareces tres semanas, vuelves y sigues. No hay racha que romper, no hay casillas que marcar, no hay nada que recuperar.
Esa es la diferencia entre un recorrido y un reto. Esto es un recorrido.
LO QUE ESTE LIBRO NO HACE
No promete que a las doce semanas estés bien. No te dice por qué fase vas, porque nadie las recorre en fila. No cita estudios ni porcentajes. No es terapia y no lo pretende: la autora no es médica ni psicóloga, y cada vez que algo roza ese terreno el libro señala la puerta de un profesional y se detiene ahí.
Lo que sí hace es sostener el cuerpo, ordenar lo urgente, proteger las relaciones que vas a necesitar después y evitar las decisiones de las que la gente se arrepiente.
Eso no cura nada. Hace que el duelo se atraviese con menos daño añadido.
