Although Fernando Lalana admits that this amusing, musical comedy was conceived as theater to be read (aloud), the text is accompanied by an introductory guide offering various suggestions on how to make the most of it in the classroom. And as a fitting finale, the book includes a compendium of reflections, commentary, and theatrical anecdotes--intended, it is hoped, to sow the seeds of interest in the dramatic arts within the hearts of young readers.
