Sometimes being in the wrong place at the wrong time...
Can be murder.
Restauranteur and amateur sleuth, Carolina Hart, is cooking up ideas to get her restaurant's catering business started, and when she finds out that the city council is taking catering bids for an upcoming convention, she throws her hat into the ring. It's a long shot, but they choose her and she's thrilled to pieces. Exhausted after a very successful convention, Carolina is closing things down and loading the catering van when she witnesses an argument that seems to be getting ugly. Very ugly. Feeling uneasy, she checks out the location of the argument later, and stumbles upon the body of a man, who is pronounced dead at the scene. Carolina returns to the restaurant and discovers, to her horror, that someone is there, trying to break in. Things take a turn for the worse when she discovers that someone has vandalized her home as well and she begins to fear for her life. The intrusions can't be a coincidence and Carolina wonders if the menacing events have something to do with the argument that she saw. Someone is behind the crimes, and Carolina is determined to find them, but the more she digs, the darker her findings become. Can she crack the case in time to save herself?
