25,000 years ago, the last Great Ice Age has ended, and man has migrated across from Asia, down through Present day Alaska, and are starting to settle what becomes the American west. Hunter/gatherers are moving from simple cave living to being out in the plains or mountains.
Tren, is a quiet young man, that wants to do his part to help feed his elderly parents and his younger sister. In the village they live in, is another warrior by the name of 'Cu' and his desire in life is to become chief of the village, by any means. Known for his cruel ways, he thinks nothing of stealing or twisting the truth to make himself appear better to others. Things change in the village when both Tren, and Cu fall for the same woman. Trouble is brewing on the horizon, and it appears that the two will soon have to square off against each other. Cu is known as the better fighter, while Tren is known for his brains.
