Joni Mitchell released 19 studio albums and her most commercially successful period was in the early to mid 1970's. He had ten songs in the top 100 and on song in the top ten with Help Me. Her other famous singles are Big Yellow Taxi, You Turn Me On, I'm a Radio, and You're Square and I Don't Care. Other hits include Raised on Robbery, In France They Kiss on the Street, Good Friends, and Carey.

She has been the girlfriend of many from Leonard Cohen, David Crosby, Graham Nash, James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Warren Beatty, Sam Shephard and Glen Frye. She is a wiz at poker, suffers Morgellons Disease, and started painting at age nine. Even Led Zeppelin dedicated Going to California to Joni Mitchell.

Mitchell has sold over 7 million records in her lifetime and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and given the Kennedy Center Honors in 2021. Rolling Stone named her #42 in the top 100 singers and #9 of the greatest guitarists of all time. She wrote as well as Bob Dylan, but sang and played guitar ten times better.
