Heart has left an indelible mark on the music industry with the fusion of folk, acoustic and hard rock elements. Fronted by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson, Heart was a rocket celebrated for their powerful vocals, lyrics and memorable guitar riffs. They gained recognition with debut album Dreamboat Annie in 1976 with hit singles Magic Man, Crazy on You and Dreamboat Annie. Throughout the 1970's and 1980's, Heart's popularity skyrocketed as their sound also evolved. The band changed with the times to stay relevant. Heart has 24 songs in the top 100 with 17 in the top 40 and #1 hits, These Dreams, and Alone. Other hits include Barracuda, Little Queen and Kick It Out among others.

In 2013, Heart was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They are ranked as one of the 100 Greatest Rock Artists by VH1 in 2008. Heart has seven top ten albums and have charted on the Billboard Charts in the 1970's, 1980's, 1990's and 2010's. In 2012, at the Kennedy Center Honors for Led Zeppelin, they performed Stairway to Heaven to a standing ovation, even bringing up tears in the eyes of Robert Plant, Zeppelin's lead singer.

Heart has sole over 35 million records and Ann and Nancy Wilson broke barriers in the male dominated rock world and paved the way for future female fronted rock bands. They were the first female fronted band to top the charts with their 1985 album, Heart, reaching number one. This book includes the influences, short history, discography and achievements of the rock band. This is a great book for Gen Z as a proper introduction of the hard rock band, Heart.
