Snappy the Shark is a young readers' adventure book, and is set above and below the Mediterranean Sea. One day, Snappy who is an inquisitive young shark, finds himself being followed by two rather large dolphins who don't look a bit nice. Fortunately Snappy's uncles is passing and comes to the rescue. Yet the two sharks still have to flee when more dolphins arrive!
What are the dolphins up to swimming around with their mysterious headsets?
Snappy wonders if this is part of a cunning plan to outsmart the humans whose fishing boats are taking all the sardines and leaving none for them.
A startling discovery leads him to befriending a lost dolphin who Snappy names as 'Bubbles'.
Together they plan to solve the mystery of the Brotherhood of the Dolphins and where have all the missing sardines gone. Above the waves, two children Charlie and Emily, are enjoying their summer holiday playing in a little sail boat blissfully unaware of the adventures going on below them. Yet all too soon they find themselves clinging on for their lives as the story unfolds. A delightful tale of underwater adventure which is fun and easy to read. Ideal for 6 year olds and above. It is warm hearted and enjoyable, and has an exciting pace.
