Smudgekins and the Case of the Missing Cock-a-doodle-doo
Book Two in the Izy Staffy Wolfpack Tall Tales series
Meet Smudgekins, a small Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy with a curious mind, a satchel full of treasures, and a heart that never backs down from helping a friend.
When Ebo the cockerel suddenly loses his famous cock-a-doodle-doo, the farm is thrown into confusion. Determined to put things right, Smudgekins sets off on another gentle, funny adventure across fields, barns, forests, and lakes to uncover what happened and bring his voice home.
Along the way, she encounters runaway sheep, a powerful storm, a mysterious flashing box, and a growing list of friends who need help just as much as answers. With teamwork, kindness, and a little pig-powered problem solving, Smudgekins discovers that bravery does not have to be loud to be strong.
This is a feel-good fairytale adventure featuring:
- A brave little Staffy puppy with a big heart
- Warm, heart-led storytelling filled with humour and gentle magic
- Friendship, kindness, and problem solving
- Farmyard chaos that is exciting without being scary
