Smudgekins and the Backwards Clock
Book Four, Series One in the Izy Staffy Wolfpack Tall Tales series
Meet Smudgekins, a brave Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy with goggles around her neck, a satchel full of treasures, and a heart that always leads her into adventure.
When a simple mission to find Farmer Tom's missing pocket watch turns into a race against time, Smudgekins finds herself facing forest fires, careless campers, dangerous hunters, and a magical clock that can rewind time. With the help of Petal the fairy, a very special Queen Bee, and the loyal Izy Staffy Wolfpack, Smudgekins takes to the skies on a flying mission that will change everything.
This is a feel-good fairytale adventure featuring:
- A courageous puppy who always tries to do the right thing
- Warm, heart-led storytelling with humour and excitement
- Magical flying adventures and unforgettable animal friends
- Gentle peril with reassuring outcomes
- A rich countryside world filled with wonder and charm
Inspired by the real-life Izy Staffy Wolfpack and set in the English countryside, Smudgekins' stories are loved by children, parents, grandparents, dog lovers, and anyone who enjoys comforting, joyful tales with heart and imagination.
Perfect for bedtime reading, shared storytime, or independent readers aged 6+, this is Book Four in the Izy Staffy Wolfpack Tall Tales series, where every adventure stands alone, but together they form a funny, magical world children love to return to.
Each book can be enjoyed on its own, but together they build a growing adventure full of friendship, bravery, and gentle magic.
