Shirin grew up in Dubai and now resides in the beautiful Niagara Region in Canada with her perfect dog, Simba. The idea of writing a book about Simba and her nieces' dog, Bear first came to her when she was watching how blissfully they were playing together. With each passing playdate, the idea grew until it became a dream. Shirin is excited to see her vision become a reality with the first book in 'The Adventures of Simba and Bear' series.

In her free time, Shirin enjoys traveling, reading, entertaining, being outdoors with her dog and spending time with her family. She is especially close to her nieces and nephews and counts them amongst her greatest blessings.
