Colonel Adrian Macalister, a Colonel in the military of the United Collective (a one world governmental society ruled by ten of the most elite men and women in the world) crashes on a remote island hundreds of thousands of miles outside of the UC's border. He and his men are badly wounded, some dead. He discovers that the island is a Utopian society governed and dominated by strong, beautiful, and intelligent women. Men are the sag of the society. Although they are productive in this culture, they are reduced to slaves; cooks, servants, pleasers of women when summoned and to assist in procreation. The island is ruled by a Feminist Queen, Judea Amun and her general Mesara Salento, an emotionless courageous and fearless head soldier of the Guard. Adrian hopes to charm his way to freedom but he quickly realizes that he has to submit to the will of the queen in order to stay alive. He hopes that making the queen happy will somehow work in his favor.
Mesara Salento has been the right hand of the Gracious Queen Judea Amun since the age of 14. She trained mercilessly and relentlessly in order to become the strongest and smartest soldier on their island. She trained relentlessly from a young age until she was strong enough to guard the island's shore with the Queen's High Guard, an elite group of soldiers that defend the island's border from intruders. Mesara, so loyal to the queen, decided not to marry nor have children for her legacy like most of the guards. She never wanted to be touched and get emotionally attached to anyone until she met Colonel Adrian Macalister. The sight of him in his brute arrogance and his disregard of the island's governmental structure, men being the lesser, intrigued her. The men of Shekina Island were weak and small compared to the mental and physical stature of these Amazonian type women. After existing for 30 years as an asexual, feelings begin to arise that she has never experienced. Duty is tested when Mesara discovers that Adrian is willing to risk it all to be with her.
