Clark Honnell and two of his friends leave together to go hunting. But before the end of the day, Clark simply vanishes.
The years go by, without any news of him. Then one day after high school lets out for the summer, Jana his daughter, now fifteen years, comes across a letter addressed to her father from a police lieutenant in Granite City. She reads the letter and learns that her father, a lawyer, is working on a mysterious case with the police lieutenant. After, reading the letter, she wonders if her father's involvement in the case, has something to do with his disappearance.
