How can you be a Healer if you've never allowed God to heal you?
It was a question that plagued Naomi's mind constantly. In fact, it crossed her mind at least once a day, and more frequently now that she was thinking about her sister regularly. At first, she thought it was the voice of the enemy, but the more she thought about what the question was really asking, the more she realized it could be coming from herself, or even from the Lord.
And what made things worse was that Naomi didn't know the answer. The only thing she could think was that it was impossible. But that meant that she'd never accomplish everything God had for her. It was something that was too heavy for her to face, so she chose not to face it at all.
Book II: The Healer follows the story of Naomi Blake, a student Healer who must answer the most challenging question God has ever asked her - Would you still serve Me if you could no longer heal? It explores important themes that every Believer must wrestle with as they work out their salvation with fear and trembling as it instructs in God's Word. Topics such as forgiveness, trusting in the Lord, following God's direction rather than man's, and surrendering even your life's calling to follow Jesus are just some of what readers can expect to dive into.
Readers who love the magical and paranormal will instantly fall in love with the Sanctum of the Spirit - a secret training academy for young people with exceptional spiritual gifts from God. The Sanctum of the Spirit series is perfect for:
- Ages 10 and up
- Anyone who is a Harry Potter fan
- People who want to learn more about the supernatural as described in the Bible.
Parents, please note that this book contains some depictions of demon possession and two instances of the phrase, rot in hell, one of which is a curse spoken by one character over another. I agonized over whether or not to include these scenarios and this phrase, knowing that children as young as 10 years old would be reading this book. However, we cannot deny that we live in a sinful world. Many of our children are exposed to much worse than this during a typical school day. In the end, I felt it was vital to make it clear that the demonic realm is real and it is possible to curse someone, resulting in serious consequences because our words do have power. The Bible does not shy away from the truth, and neither will any book in the Sanctum of the Spirit series.
