The two teens, joined by Sam's grandmother Nana and Maddie's dog Sparks, are trained to become Galactic Guardian-Level Earth-Protectors. They meet endearing characters such as passionate Professor Schroom, fairies Bluebell and Whitestar, and Granny the orca, as SilverLight magically transports them back and forth between the everyday world of school and family and the various Realms of Possibilities that exist in other dimensions.
