Leaving Hurstville in a hurry after shooting a hit man, Vincent Company flees in his car not knowing where to go. He ends up in west London, the perfect place to hide, or so he thinks. But unknown to him his whereabouts are being tracked by a Dutch drug gang who still want to ask him questions about twenty grand that he stole a few months ago. Hoping to disappear among the masses, Vincent takes a zero-hour warehouse job and grows a beard. He befriends an Eastern European co-worker and gets attached to a young Polish girl, both of whom are struggling to make ends meet in their new life in London town. In this sequel to 'No Company Allowed' Vincent soon discovers that trying to disappear in the city isn't as easy as you'd think - especially when rough boys with their tough toys are intent on sending him to the big sleep. 'Jerry Raine is a master of the suburban crime novel.' The Times.'Absolutely authentic and quite possibly important.' The Literary Review.'This guy should be known as Acid Raine.' Yorkshire Post.
