The author was a journalist and editor with the BBC and its international offshoot Visnews for many years, before moving to the USA to work on the development of satellite services for the international TV market. His global travel experiences provide the background for the 20 books he has written and edited in his retirement, including the previous spy thrillers - The Russian Lieutenant, Beyond the Funeral and There are No Coincidences.
