The Royal Book of Oz is a classic children's book written by Ruth Plumly Thompson and is part of the Oz series. It was first published in 1921 and is the tenth book in the series. The story follows the adventures of a young girl named Princess Ozma, who rules over the magical land of Oz. When a wicked witch named Coo-ee-oh threatens to take over Oz, Ozma and her friends must embark on a dangerous journey to stop her. Along the way, they encounter a host of strange creatures and magical beings, including the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Woodman, and the Scarecrow. With its vivid descriptions, colorful characters, and exciting plot, The Royal Book of Oz is a timeless classic that will delight readers of all ages. The moon shone brightly, but everyone in the Emerald City was fast asleep! Through the deserted streets hurried the Scarecrow. For the first time since his discovery by little Dorothy, he was really unhappy. Living as he did in a Fairyland, he had taken many things for granted and had rather prided himself on his unusual appearance. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
