The Royal Book of Oz is a classic children's fantasy novel written by Ruth Plumly Thompson and is part of the original Oz series created by L. Frank Baum. The story follows the adventures of Prince Randy of Regalia and his friend Kabumpo, the Elegant Elephant, as they journey to the magical land of Oz to help Princess Ozma save her kingdom from the clutches of the evil King Krewl and his army of trolls. Along the way, they meet a host of delightful characters, including a talking goat named Bilbil, a giant spider named Webster, and a group of mischievous monkeys. With its imaginative plot, charming characters, and magical setting, The Royal Book of Oz is a timeless classic that has captivated generations of readers. The moon shone brightly, but everyone in the Emerald City was fast asleep! Through the deserted streets hurried the Scarecrow. For the first time since his discovery by little Dorothy, he was really unhappy. Living as he did in a Fairyland, he had taken many things for granted and had rather prided himself on his unusual appearance. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
