Rose-ringed Parakeets (Psittacula krameri), also known as Ring-necked Parakeets, are one of the most widely recognized species of parrots due to their vibrant green plumage, playful personalities, and striking appearance. They are members of the parrot family (Psittacidae) and are native to parts of Africa and South Asia, though they have also been introduced to several regions around the world. Their adaptability and intelligence have made them popular as pets, but this species is also known for its social and sometimes noisy nature, which makes them a favorite among bird enthusiasts and a challenging companion for first-time pet owners.
Overview of the Species

Rose-ringed Parakeets are incredibly intelligent, capable of mimicking sounds and human speech. In the wild, they communicate through a range of vocalizations, from sharp screeches to melodic calls, which they use to communicate with other flock members.
