Since first revitalizing figurative sculpture in the late 1990s with his exquisitely crafted realism, Ron Mueck (born Melbourne in 1958; lives and works in England) continues his profound observation of human experiences and emotions. Ron Mueck: Encounter presents sculptures drawn from across the globe. Mueck's captivating figures, scaled from the minute to the monumental, embody themes such as birth and death, alienation and togetherness, tenderly inviting us to explore our relationship with the world.

This illustrated publication on Mueck explores the evolution of his art practice and celebrates the development of a major new work, Havoc (2025).
