Beneath the veneer of legitimate commerce, Ella uncovers a hidden economy where greed, organized crime, and human trafficking converge.
With agencies circling and witnesses closing ranks, Ella must decide how far she is willing to risk her career-and her safety-to expose a system designed to remain invisible.
Set against the industrial beauty and moral murk of the Mississippi corridor, this is a story about complicity, conscience, and the cost of looking the other way-where not all crimes leave bodies behind.
