The book is a detailed account of Price's investigations into the world of spiritualism and mediumship, and his experiences with various mediums and psychics.Price's investigations into spiritualism began in the early 20th century, at a time when the movement was gaining popularity in Europe and America. In this book, he shares his observations and findings from his interactions with mediums and their clients. The book covers a wide range of topics related to spiritualism, including the history of the movement, the techniques used by mediums to communicate with the dead, and the various forms of psychic phenomena that he encountered during his investigations.Price also provides a critical analysis of the claims made by mediums and their supporters, and offers his own theories and explanations for the phenomena he witnessed. He also describes the various tricks and techniques used by fraudulent mediums to deceive their clients.Revelations of a Spirit Medium is a fascinating read for anyone interested in the history of spiritualism and the paranormal. It offers a unique perspective on the movement from one of its most prominent critics and skeptics, and provides valuable insights into the techniques and practices of mediums and psychics.1922. Facsimile edition with notes, bibliography, glossary and index. No mere knowledge of magical secrets will ever guarantee the reader from being deceived by fraudulent mediums. Actual acquaintance with practical methods and long experience of the conduct of seances is necessary before he will be able to distinguish the genuine from the fraudulent, and when he finds himself able to discern faintly the line which divides the two he will be in a position to understand more fully the enormous difficulties which confront the investigators of psychical phenomena. It is hoped that the reappearance of this mediumistic classic will whet the reader's appetite and make him eager for still further information. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
