Rahu has long been misunderstood in modern astrology. Reduced to desire, obsession, fear, or illusion, his deeper function as the carrier of ancestral continuity has been overlooked. This book restores Rahu to his original place in jyotiṣa - not as a graha of chaos, but as the natural Pitrikāraka, the one who carries unfinished lineage karma forward until it can finally conclude.
Drawing from classical texts, varga analysis, and lived chart-based evidence, this work examines Rahu through Śaṣṭiāṁśa (D-60), Viṁśāṁśa (D-20), Siddhāṁśa (D-24), Navāṁśa (D-9), and Daśāṁśa (D-10), showing how Pitṛ karma originates, descends, and resolves across layers of life. Special emphasis is placed on Rahu's role in ancestral obligation, prolonged effort, delayed ease, and the pressure to articulate what earlier generations could not complete.
This book is not about remedies, appeasement, or emotional healing. It does not psychologise lineage or reduce Pitṛ karma to parental relationships. Instead, it presents a structural understanding of ancestors as unfinished functions and Rahu as the force that sustains continuation until closure becomes possible.
