Book 1: Adapting to the Radius of The Radius Series is a post-apocalyptic Sci-Fi thriller written by D.M. MUGA. Ben, Eileen, and Richard are three of close to nine million people that were trapped within the Blue Hole Radius, in Southern California, and emerged into a world that is 1,410 years into their future.
What would your life be like if the rest of the world passed you by for 1,410 years? What would the rest of the world look like? How would that affect those that were trapped within the Blue Hole Radius? Will the well-known, progressive area of Southern California take it in stride? Will it return to the days of the Wild Wild West? Or will it turn into something else entirely?
On May 19th, 2023, scientists at Caltech were successful with not only simulating a black hole but also creating a temporary black hole, which lasted exactly 60 seconds. The affected area of the temporary black hole was that of a radius of 71 miles at its largest width, 23 miles at its largest height, and 6 miles into the Earth at its deepest depth. Within the affected area, for every second that passed by inside of the Blue Hole Radius, twenty-three and a half years passed by outside of the Blue Hole Radius.
Benjamin Reilly is an aircraft mechanic, working at Ontario International Airport. Eileen Rivera is an emergency room nurse working at Loma Linda University Hospital. Richard Clark is an inmate, serving year 3 of his 20-year sentence in Chino Prison.
Follow the stories of these three Americans, as they deal with the aftermath of the black hole paradox, which created the Blue Hole Radius.
