The Quest of the Singular Keepers - our third novel in the Keepers Series - contains 405 pages distributed over 37 chapters. It starts in Washington DC at the home of the Irani-Electra duo as Indira the Singularity approves what Irani is planning to announce on 2162's Monday after Thanksgiving to America's President, Genesee Huston.
And when Irani does, the President agrees with her decision to resign from the Secretary of Health and Human Services post that she has held for nearly two years. Irani has delivered everything promised and plans to help the President via consulting assignments given to siblings Eve and Nari, both of whom have benefited from Irani's tutoring, especially Eve, who has fully recovered from a year-ago gunshot attack that only Indira could prevent from becoming fatal. World climates have settled down, and Electra's other clone children and close friends are all pointed in the right direction.
But troubles soon intrude and continue escalating in both personal and professional worlds, forcing multiple changes in plans that are necessary to help loved ones and existential causes alike. Irani navigates a risky course but always follows Electra's expanding empathy that puts friends and family ahead of everything else, and her sui generis brilliance keeps enemies and risks at bay. So, follow the action-adventure trail starting on page one and leading all the way to another unguessable ending.
The book's theme should resonate with all of us: Much more than half the meaning of life is found in our relationships with the people we care about. Reaching out to help gives a reward greater than what we put in. And we can do this while balancing our own wishes if we use a pragmatic, proactive philosophy.
