Thirteen-year-old Justin Sanders and his best friend Eric are finally putting all the pieces together to solve the mysteries of Justin's cousin's murder and the giant Pickerel Lake fish found at his grandparents' resort in northern Minnesota.
But first, they must deal with a bear attack; death threats from Russian agents performing DNA tests on the hijacked giant fish; and a trio of murderers capturing Justin and Eric, leaving the boys to drown in a sinking boat at the middle of Pickerel Lake.
Justin recruits the love of his life, Audrey, to assist in the struggle. As they fight off the trio of murderers, friend Gusta's home is burned down. Justin and Eric discover a secret helicopter enclosure containing information disclosing the location of the Russian agents and their plans to blow up their warehouse with the giant fish trapped inside. Will the boys - with a little help from the FBI - be successful foiling the bad guys' plot?
Pickerel Lake 3: Resolution is the third book in a trilogy.
