MY SON WHO BECAME PHARAOH.
WHO FOUND A TRUTH.
THAT CHANGED THE WORLD.
A suspenseful tale of betrayal, power, deliverance, and unlikely love.
For years, stories of the Great Humiliation have haunted our lands with war, fought from the liberation of a 150-year rule of a northern foreign invader. Our sons who supersede but never to overshadow were the heirs to their power. Kemet bowed to them, the Gods for submission for dominance and control of life.
Pharaoh changes the old political structure that abolishes the worship of the Gods. He opens himself to a new life, a new beginning-struggling to unify an empire. With a threat of betrayal from his priesthood and army revealed, the Gods unveil themselves to restore order and to prevent the next inheritance to the throne-until the unthinkable happens.
PROLOGUE
MY THOUGHTS.
I'm thinking as I sit here listening. I control all that is said and will be decided around this table of the priests. They conspire, but the conspiracy is of my doing. The threat of losing everything burns behind my passions as I remember the glory days I prayed I would see once more. I fix my posture into the wooden gold platted chair to sit a little closer to the conversation. We will create fear, but I am the one to be feared. The air is thick with heat, making beads of sweat drip down my bald head and back, from the poorly vented dark chamber room hidden within the hypostyle hall we are in. I will not be passed over, not this time.
He betrayed me, he had countless opportunities not to do it-
He needs to die.
The chamber room is lighted by candles in corners, with one candle which sits in the middle of the table. I pull the wax light closer with one hand and smack the table with the other. The priests silenced themselves, giving all their attention to the head of the table where I sit.
It's crucial that what is said here is to never be said outside this room. All the priests nod their heads in understanding and obedience. The room is silent. I stare at them, looking for any challenging behavior.
There is none.
I clap my hand once to give the signal...
Continue!
They converse. The table of brown faces talk over each other, all are looking for dominance.
I watch.
I listen.
Panehesy.
I hear my name being called. It does not come from the table. I look around and notice some movement towards the back of the room down a smaller dark corridor. I leave the table and walk unsure and slowly forward, becoming very submissive and humble to a tall sizeable stranger that is standing in the shadows.
My thoughts slow, I am terrified.
The stranger having a mysterious like presence kept its appearance hidden from me with a black hooded cloak.
I'm fearful of looking up. I hesitate but slowly lift my head to stare into its dark hood-
