Sometimes, life is wonderful and will stay that way. Other times, it isn't so good, and that makes it seem as if we have to fix it. When Krithi Sridhar and her brother Rajesh were 7 years old, their mother left them without any explanation, shortly after Krithi was diagnosed with depression, and Rajesh was diagnosed with anxiety. They left their home country in hopes of forgetting everything and decided to live in Atlantic City, New Jersey. After having to move away again, the two were exposed to a new lifestyle, living in a boarding school and making friends. After their somewhat perfect life takes a horrible turn, Krithi must learn to accept bad things, because it is sometimes impossible to fix them. Acceptance, being true to yourself, and staying calm are all things she must learn to lead a good life and avoid negative emotions.
