Lloyd Erickson must find a new purpose for the ship which launched his career and her six sisters, to save a struggling shipyard. The only hope is a mysterious environmental-action coalition, Emerald Enterprises. Lloyd's one possible connection to Emerald's leadership is his ex-fiancée, young Congresswoman Colleen Kelly.
There is not enough time to close the deal before the stripped double-hull tanker will head back down river to be broken on a beach in India. She will pollute the oceans Lloyd designed her to protect unless he can engage his ex in the battle to save the shipyard.
Lloyd and Colleen find themselves onboard the ship in the center of an escalating conflict off Tel Aviv, Israel. They must determine if it is worth risking their lives to save the Mediterranean Sea from a catastrophic environmental disaster.
This novel provides a thrill ride that engages the reader in today's pressing issues. McKenney tackles more than one of the most controversial topics of the environmental movement in his debut novel. This seaworthy, environmental thriller won't disappoint. Author's Biography
