This vintage book is a version of Christopher Marlowe's Doctor Faustus adapted for puppets. Based on a German tale called Faust, it is the story of a man who sells his soul to the Devil in exchange for knowledge, experience, and power. This fantastic volume will be of considerable utility to puppeteers both professional and novice alike, and would make for a wonderful addition to collections of allied literature. Many vintage books such as this are becoming increasingly scarce and expensive. It is with this in mind that we are republishing this volume now in an affordable, high-quality edition complete with a specially commissioned new introduction on puppets and marionettes.
