Both are key compounds in magic mushrooms.
Yet the use of psilocybin goes much further than simply taking it in modern pop culture for recreational use. It is sometimes categorized as an entheogen and a way of reaching altered states of mind during meditation. It also is used in spiritual and religious rituals.
