Would her mom have time for just the two of them anymore? Would their home still feel like home? Would Brooklyn have to give up pillow talks, bedtime hugs, shopping trips or their special Saturday traditions?
She didn't say much. But she wondered. And she worried. Then one Sunday morning, something happened that began to change everything.
Sitting in church beside her mom, Brooklyn listened to the story of a young woman named Esther, a young girl who stepped up in a big way to help others, even though she didn't feel ready. As the pastor spoke, Brooklyn looked down at her favorite sneakers and began to wonder... could God use her, too?
This is the story of how a pair of shoes, and a quiet heart full of questions, led one girl on a journey of courage, faith, and unexpected purpose. It's a story that reminds us that even when we feel unsure or unseen, God is guiding every step.
