There was a time when prophets trembled before they spoke.
They did not rush to microphones or schedule appearances. They did not brand themselves or promote their gifts. They waited-often in silence-until the word of the Lord burned so fiercely in their bones that it had to be released.

The secret place was exchanged for the spotlight. The weight of God's presence was replaced by the applause of crowds. What once flowed from brokenness now flows from business models.
God says: I never authorized My voice to be marketed.
True prophecy is conceived in intimacy. It is birthed in stillness. It is refined through obedience and fear of the Lord. But modern prophecy is often conceived in strategy meetings, polished for presentation, and timed for maximum engagement.
The prayer closet produces tears.
The marketplace produces tickets.
When prophecy is no longer costly to the prophet, it becomes dangerous to the people.
Many now speak about God without standing before Him. They release words without lingering in His presence. They prophesy without fasting. They declare without trembling. They speak quickly-but they listen little.
The Lord declares:
I spoke in whispers, but they shouted for profit. I spoke in warnings, but they softened My words for acceptance.
This is not a minor drift-it is a spiritual betrayal.
The prophetic was never meant to be efficient. It was meant to be faithful. And until the prophetic returns to the prayer closet, it will continue to lose its authority, its accuracy, and its power.
