O documento está configurado da seguinte forma: Em um primeiro momento, nesta tese foi realizada uma digressão sobre a filosofia de Hegel e a relação entre o conceito de alienação e sua vinculação com a ideia de liberdade. Num segundo momento, trabalharemos a perspetiva crÃtica do conceito de alienação que se inicia com a figura de Feuerbach e termina com a filosofia de Marx e Engels. Por fim, esta tese abordará as implicações e os efeitos colaterais que o fenómeno da alienação e da reificação tem nas dinâmicas de reconhecimento dentro da esfera do mercado a partir da perspetiva de Axel Honneth. Para tal, desenvolvi uma hipótese em que defendo que a Eticidade democrática pode ser uma solução para o problema da alienação e da reificação, na medida em que a natureza patológica dos fenómenos da alienação e da reificação é mediada por relações sociais e é um produto social que pode ser socialmente revertido.
