PNW Affliction Vol.1. (Books 1-8, compiled) This book covers the main character's initial full story arc to slowly introduce you to the greater world of PNW Affliction. Included is an intro story to what's going on in one of the larger cities the night of the collapse. These stories are more or less meant as mysteries to solve. So I try to not give too much away. Suffice it to say, each city has a different affliction in relation to a wider partial collapse. So don't expect it to be straight forward and all encompassing like zombie apocalypse or EMP, etc.. Instead there's a bit of something for everybody. Most importantly, the stories are about everyone coming together and being a team so they can survive. So there isn't a lot of contrived drama. The story speeds up when it needs to, and slows down when it needs to. If a detail is skipped, it's usually because the character doesn't care or doesn't remember. These are written in a way, like finding the journals later buried in a bunker somewhere after our collapse has already happened. Like a message in a bottle from a generation long since changed beyond recognition. Also these aren't kids books. However they don't get deliberately adult until book #16 and #17 (and some of #18). The rest are violent to be sure, but not as heavy in sexual themes. So parents use your own judgement. Hope this all makes sense, and hope you enjoy. Thanks!
