On the outermost edge of the bottommost branch of an old and twisted pine there was once a tiny icicle. So begins a holiday tale set in the far end of a vast landfill on the edge of a sprawling metropolis. When a group of municipal workers encroach on the last bit of life in a landscape of wanton disregard and decay, a series of events is set in motion that will transform the lives of our trio and the people of the city forever. In our age of deep concern for the environment, The Pine Cone and The City is an exhilarating tale of kindness overcoming cruelty, discovering the power in compassion when all hope is lost, and the natural world saving society despite the error its ways. It's a holiday treat for all!
