The Photograph is a miniature booklet that the author wants as many people as possible to read. The booklet details two young Sudanese girls while walking to their water reservoir in 2006 while the author (Canadian Military Retired Douglas R. Oggelsby) was on a United Nations Military Tasking. The booklet describes the young girls in fine detail so that the readers have a better understanding of what they must go through to reach their water reservoir each day. The booklet explains their dress, their thoughts, their village, and the attacks they must endure on a daily basis. It is detailed so the readers can really understand what it must be like for the two young girls. In addition, the booklet takes the opportunity to relay some other key experiences of the author while working as a Military Observer in the Sudan in 2006. Stories of lost children, child sex, whippings, abuse of children and much more! The miniature booklet is trying to make as many people as possible aware of the issues in Africa and in this case Sudan. It wants to ensure Politicians, Military Leaders and Game Changers read the booklet and stop ignoring the issues and really try to make a difference.
