The Mystery of Mass: From Newton to Higgs
Mass is one of the most fundamental yet enigmatic concepts in physics. In classical physics, mass is defined as a measure of an object's inertia and the source of gravitational interaction. However, the Standard Model has limitations: it fails to incorporate gravity into a unified framework, and the microscopic mechanism of gravity (possibly involving gravitons) remains unclear, leaving the deeper nature of mass an unsolved mystery.
