Chaos. It seems to be just about everywhere, wreaking havoc everywhere it goes, to whatever it touches. The Torah calls it tohu and it was increasingly banished with each day of Creation. Or so we thought. Or so we hoped. Not according to Kabbalah. Not even according to Gemora, and certainly not according to life. That's not a mistake or accident, because it is part of the redemption process, making possible the rectification of a perfectly imperfect world.
