Readers work with koko, soko, asoko, and doko, then use arimasu for things and imasu for people. Find a meeting room, return a library book, locate a service counter, identify an open seat, and reach the correct platform.
Each two-story section moves from prepared vocabulary and grammar to a Supported Read, an Independent Read, line-by-line meaning, comprehension checks, and a controlled Make It Yours prompt. Reviews, a vocabulary reference, and an unscored Challenge Reading reinforce the location language in a new map-based situation.
Designed for kana-literate adult beginners, this reader bridges the gap between knowing isolated place words and following where people and objects actually are in a connected passage.
The book is complete on its own. An optional ReadNihongo companion provides guided activities, word and grammar support, adjustable support paths, and next-day review without requiring an account.
