Alex Marshal, a renowned and respected international art agent, finds true love for the first time with San Francisco gallery owner Joi Pascale, just as an art forgery scam--one that he engineered--is about to be uncovered.
When Joi flies off with Alex on a whirlwind trip to Paris, her friends and business partners are alarmed and skeptical about his intentions. One such friend is David Wallace, who has been investigating Alex in hopes of discovering his wrongdoing.
Joi has fallen for Alex, but now has doubts. She connects with David in Paris to help find out who Alex really is. Alex wants to come clean, but is afraid he will lose Joi if he does so.
Will Joi's Paris adventure lead to heartbreak for them both? And where is that forged artwork?
With a diverse cast of characters, each on their own journey but very much connected to the Paris Affair,- this tale unfolds in Seattle, San Francisco and Paris with romance, humor, heartbreak, and intrigue--all tempered with fabulous food and wine, incredible art, and the magic of the City of Light.
Filled with plot twists and revelations that unfold like a carefully curated art exhibit, The Paris Affair promises to keep readers guessing until the very end. Don't miss this funny, sexy, and delicious tale of art, love, and deception in the City of Light.
