From Hollywood Heartbreak to Desert Hearts: A Cozy Romance About Finding Yourself and Love in the Most Unexpected Places
Adrian Cole has it all-or so everyone keeps telling him. Three years playing Dr. Marcus Steele on the hit medical drama Desert Hearts has made him a household name, earned him Emmy buzz, and given him everything an actor is supposed to want. So why does he feel like he's disappearing?
When Adrian walks away from his successful television career, his friends think he's having a breakdown. His publicist thinks he's committing professional suicide. But Adrian knows he's finally doing something right-he's choosing himself over the character that's been consuming his life.
A spontaneous escape to Palm Springs with his best friends Mia and Zoe was supposed to be a quick reset, a chance to remember who he is when he's not performing. What Adrian doesn't expect is Gracie Montenegro, the magnificent former Vegas showgirl who runs The Gracie motel like a fairy godmother with excellent taste in coffee and an uncanny ability to know exactly what her guests need.
And he definitely doesn't expect Julian Rivera.
Julian is everything Adrian didn't know he was looking for-a talented artist who left the San Francisco gallery scene to paint what he loves in the desert light, someone who sees Adrian the person rather than Dr. Marcus Steele the character. Between morning farmers markets and sunset gondola rides, hidden oases and jazz brunches, Adrian finds himself falling not just for Julian, but for a completely different way of living.
But when Hollywood comes calling with the opportunity of a lifetime-a starring role that could make Adrian's career-he has to choose between the success everyone expects him to want and the happiness he's finally learned to recognize.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Palm Springs' mid-century charm and vibrant community, The Gracie is a cozy romance about the courage it takes to reinvent yourself, the magic of finding where you belong, and the joy of building something real with someone who loves you for exactly who you are.
Perfect for readers who loved Beach Read, Red, White & Royal Blue, and anyone who's ever wondered what would happen if they chose their heart over their career.
A warm, funny, and deeply satisfying story about second chances, small-town magic, and the love that helps us become who we're meant to be.
Features: Grumpy-turned-sunshine MMC, artist love interest, found family, career change, Palm Springs setting, cozy romance vibes
