Valkyrie comes from a military family, but she has recently lost both of her parents and now lives alone with her brother, Nevan. She tries to keep them both safe, keep them alive as they try to make it in the cruel world alone. But something- or someone has captured them from their home. Where are they going? What's going to happen to them? And why aren't they the only ones being taken?
Valkyrie must face her fears, dealing with both past and present. She meets a group of kids who have some of the same Ideals as her, but they have their own struggles. Can a group of teenagers agree, get along, and find the truth before it's too late?
