Johnny Cantu is a huge fan of the 1950's, he wears his hair greaser style, listens to doo wop music, and plays in a 50's tribute band. After high school Johnny gets a night shift job at a remote warehouse in New York City and finds an unusual machine in an old wooden shipping container he suspects is a time machine. Johnny travels back to the 1950's and at first it is everything he hoped it would be. Johnny joins a doo wop band in Harlem and falls in love with the bands lead singer sultry and beautiful Ella Smith. Ella happens to be the girlfriend of a dangerous and jealous mobster and Johnny and Ella find themselves chased from coast to coast by the mob, the police and the Nevada Gaming comission. The 1950's are the wrong time for Johnny, can he find his way back to the time machine and save the beautiful Ella?
